About journalists and editors

Journalists and editors are constantly under time pressure and always looking for new stories. They have to fill the space in print media and are in need of information. They research in most cases, but also use news agencies, press journals and <good contacts>.

They decide - considering political, economical and public interests - which topics are published. Therefore specific information has to be provided in such a way that it makes the work easier for them. Detailed information with background information will rather be used, then those which have to be worked on.

Furthermore it is important, that a PR agency has good contacts to journalists and editors. A short phone call is more worth than a dusend press releases.
